On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Angela Reddock-Wright, employment attorney, mediator, arbitrator, workplace and Title IX investigator, joined Los Angeles ABC-7 reporter Rachel Brown to discuss the anticipated new California Law - AB 2188 - which, if passed, would prohibit California employers from discriminating in hiring, firing or setting conditions of employment against employees who legally use recreational or medical marijuana.
Reddock-Wright and Brown also discussed recent developments in California fair pay and pay transparency laws, including the anticipated new law - SB 1162 - which, if passed, would require employers with 15 or more employees to include pay scale information for all job postings, including job postings placed with third party sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
